Position Overview:
Set up and operate lathe machines.
Produce precision parts according to specifications.
Select cutting tools and adjust machine settings.
Monitor operations for quality control.
Measure and inspect finished parts.
Perform machine maintenance tasks.
Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness.
Collaborate with team to meet production goals.
Document production and inspection data.
Technical Skills Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in lathe operation or similar role.
Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions.
Strong attention to detail and precision.
Basic math and communication skills.
Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualification:
Vocational training in machining.
Experience with CNC lathe machines.
Familiarity with machining software.
Previous manufacturing industry experience.
Work Environment:
Warehouse, cleanroom, fast paced, standing all day.
